Interesting Food Learnings This Week

I had my latest session with Linda yesterday and she dropped some great knowledge on me. Several years ago I was learning how to speak and understand German at the Goethe Institute and I used to say that after each session, I felt like I used a different part of my brain than I normally do. I find the same sort of reaction when I learn new things about health and fitness (nearly all from Linda’s teachings).

Yesterday we covered a few interesting topics so I wanted to share. First we talked about doing an “oregano oil cleanse”. The idea is that oregano oil attacks the nasty candida that lives inside us. As we eat more unhealthy crap, the candida grow and multiply to help our bodies process the crap and can take over. Working out and eating healthy helps to get rid of the excess candida but it doesn’t fully cleanse the system of the nasty critters. While I did the colon cleanse last week, this oregano oil cleanse is different.

Linda recommended the ADP 120 from Agape Nutrition. I ordered the capsules yesterday and will write up a recap once the cleanse is over. I need to do this for 45 days so I may write a recap throughout the process.

Next up we discussed a study by Masaru Emoto who did research that proved that saying positive things to water led to better crystals versus saying mean and nasty things to the water led to non-forming crystals. Ok, it’s bit new age-y but still really interesting. I do think that the things we say to each other or to ourselves play a huge role in how we feel, how we look, how we act, how we everything.

Last we discussed “Kirlian Photography” which is where a special camera is used to show “life”. The concept Linda explained if you take a picture using this kirlian method of a hamburger from McDonalds you will see no light in the photo because the food is dead. Now if you take a photo using the kirlian method of a piece of kale or a carrot, you will see light sparks emitting from the fruit or vegetable because it is still alive. The point Linda was making is that it’s important that we eat alive stuff as much as possible. I think that I am really close to eating nearly all alive food – except for the chicken and soon to be occasional piece of fish.
