This is just a quick update – I just completed my first beef free week. I had chicken each night for dinner. It’s not like this was a big stretch for me since I like chicken too, just wanted to send in a quick update. I don’t know if reducing the beef intake helps for weight loss, but this is the first week I feel like the scale has moved. Linda has told me a few times that beef is “inflammatory” and I can tell you that after eating a hamburger tonight (all my burgers are 91%), it definitely feels “heavier” than the chicken inside my stomach.
I am hoping to reduce the beef on a regular basis as well and finally eat some of the tilapia I bought this week as well.
