Seriously McDonalds?

Let’s get real here for a minute – I know ALL about McDonalds. And if there is one thing I would NEVER, never, never, never, never call McDonalds it’s healthy.

I came across the image below on Instagram this morning (follow me here). It sure is an eye-opener McDonalds!

Can you imagine driving to work on the interstate every day and seeing this billboard? I can’t imagine there is one person in the world who would eat an Egg McMuffin and think “boy this is only 300 calories yahoo!”. C’mon now. And let’s not forget that I’d bet the majority of people get a side of the hash brown or a coffee with sugar as well. And let’s forget that this sandwich has 87% of the cholesterol you should have in a day and 820mg sodium for 34% of your daily total.

There is one thing I know – when I finished eating food at McDonalds I always felt heavier and generally felt crappier.

You know that it’s quicker, easier and healthier to make a nice smoothie with fruit and vegetables. If I can make the change, any person in the world can too. Trust that my friend.
