Today I learned just how big a 12″ ruler is. I have one of them in my junk drawer and when I go to grab a scissors or a screwdriver I see the ruler there but don’t give it a second thought. Now when I look at the ruler, I know just how big it really is.
For my non-U.S. friends, the 12″ ruler = 30.48 centimeters.
